Who are we?

Who are we?

We're just ordinary people living life through spectrums of colours.

Each week a colour is explored and how it exists in our everyday lives.

Through Monday to Saturday, a new category is posted each day relating to the colour of the week and reveal interesting facts and knowledge you may not have known before.

But which colours will be explored?

Well, that's a surprise!

Here are the categories that you can follow:

Monday - Travel

Tuesday - Philosophy

Wednesday - Characters

Thursday - Food

Friday - Science

Saturday - Music

Red Wine Anyone?

by John Chan

The colour red is usually used to describe food, items, locations and can be associated with certain emotions and symbols.
In music, red can be used to symbolise certain emotions or as a description embedded within a song.  My carefully selected songs bellow are a mix of modern and classic hits that are sure to bring a new flavour to your Saturdays.

Red Red Wine- UB40

This all time classic song is well known for its smooth calm Reggie vibe. The song is quite odd in the sense that it essentially portrays alcoholism and its associated feelings through the addiction to red wine. However the catchy and chill melody causes you to ignore the lyrics and unwillingly get lost in the vibe of the song. Making you forget any negative thoughts you may have and want to sit back, relax and drink red red wine.

I'd have sworn, That with time, Thoughts of you would leave my head
I was wrong, Now I find, Just one thing makes me forget

Red, red wine, Stay close to me, Don't let me be alone, It's tearin' apart
My blue, blue heart

Red – Taylor swift

A catchy pop song written and performed by Taylor Swift. The song, like most of Taylor’s music is about heartbreak. This catchy pop song infuses elements of country rock and pop together to produce a surprisingly catchy song (after listening to it a few times). In a matter of time you will be singing or humming (for those of you who cant sing) parts of this song sub consciously.

Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead-end street
Faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly,
Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you're already flying through the free fall

But loving him was red
Loving him was red

Tiƫsto - Red Lights

This Edm song by Tiesto is extremely calming and fairly catchy. The song encourages you to live life in away that makes you happy and to enjoy every minute of it. The music video follows a young woman as she make a decision to quit her job, break free and start having fun in her life.  The chill nature of the song causes you to relax and is perfect for those Saturday nights in, when all you want to do is relax on the comfort of your bed/couch.

Nobody else needs to know
Where we might go...
We could just run them red lights
